The album Reflection is a project of the Association of Young Performing Musicians of the Russian Musical Union. The idea of the album lies in its very title. The featured works – Piano Quintet by Mieczysław Weinberg and Overture on Hebrew Themes by Sergei Prokofiev – are interpreted by the performers as a reflection in the music of the first half of the twentieth century, a period of political turmoil and horrors of war.
